The WMS is looking for new members to join the Sustainability Committee. 

The Committee's brief is to look at the ways in which the WMS operates and agree on approaches to improve the environmental sustainability of both the Society and our annual global Congress. 

Our existing membership is a passionate and enthusiastic group and we need more members to help bring new ideas and share the responsibilities. The commitment for anyone considering joining the Sustainability Committee is one meeting each month. These meetings typically last one hour. Taking responsibility for actions arising from these meetings is voluntary, and we encourage all members to participate.
