Welcome

Welcome to our first email newsletter, packed full of information to help you get the most from your WMS membership.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you more relevant stories and insights from experts around the world. We’re particularly proud of the Communications section of our website, which brings monthly updates, interviews and cases of neuromuscular diseases.

We are also looking forward to our 2022 Congress in Canada, where we will be welcoming members back in person for the first time in three years. Registrations are fully open, we hope to see many of you there.

Please do share feedback about this newsletter. If you have any items for future newsletters, please let us know.

Retired Members and Membership Grants

As an international community we are committed to being inclusive for our members around the world

If you are a retired member of our community and would still like to keep up with news and colleagues in the field there is now a Retired membership category for you.

If the membership fee is a barrier to your joining the WMS, please send a short letter to Prof. Laurent Servaissecretary@worldmusclesociety.org explaining your current role and how WMS membership will be of benefit to you.

Get involved with the WMS

If you have recently joined as a member or renewed your membership, you’ll have noticed a question in the form about whether you’d like to get involved with any of the WMS Committees. Now is the time to get involved and help to shape the future of the WMS for its members. Contact office@worldmusclesociety.org to find out more about how you can part of it all.
