Myologists across the world, join us at our online Myology Café on Thursday 15th May at 13:00 BST to meet your community.
The WMS Myology Developments across the World Committee is pleased to announce the launch of a new series of talks, hosted as part of our popular Myology Café. This series will focus on exploring regional approaches to neuromuscular disorder (NMD) care and patient registries. It aims to foster cross-regional collaboration, promote the sharing of practical insights, and support continuous learning among healthcare professionals working in the field of rare NMDs.
Hosted by Dr Rasha El Sherif, Chair of the WMS Myology Developments Across the World Committee, our first session in this series will feature Dr. Karolína Podolska, Internal Physician and Programme Manager of the Accredited Duchenne Centres and Coordinator of the Centre for Adults with DMD at the General University Hospital in Prague, Czechia. Dr. Podolska will share her experience coordinating across various Duchenne centres, offering valuable perspectives on the accreditation process, inter-centre collaboration and effective care models for adult DMD patients.
We warmly invite clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders to join us for this engaging first session as we take an important step toward building a more connected and informed global NMD care community.
The Myology Café is organised by our Myology Developments Across the World Committee. We hope these informal sessions will strengthen our international community, enabling you to meet with your regional colleagues as well as the international ones.
This virtual meet-up over a coffee happens bi-monthly and features Wordly live translation. All attendees can have the entire meeting translated into their preferred language in real time. We welcome both WMS members and non-members, from all around the world.
