The Clinical Therapies (OT/PT/TR/MT/SLP/AUD) Research Therapist plays a key role in research projects as a Principal Investigator or under the direction of a Principal Investigator.
The Research Therapist is a collaborative member of the assigned research team/clinic/department.
Performs data entry, collection, query resolution, and management.
Communicates with various departments to obtain patient data and statistics and assists in abstract submission and presentations for annual meetings.
The Research Therapist may also perform therapy services as guided by their respective professional organizations.
Demonstrates competencies defined (*) in Research Therapist responsibilities in terms of knowledge of age-appropriate and developmentally-appropriate care to patients from the age of birth through 21 years.
