Apply to Attend RYR-1-Related Diseases International Research Workshop
Individuals interested in attending The RYR-1 Foundation’s first-ever “RYR-1-Related Diseases International Research Workshop: From Mechanisms to Treatments” should complete the application to attend no later than February 28, 2022. The workshop, hosted by The RYR-1 Foundation, will occur from July 21-July 22, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Individuals at any stage of their careers, including trainees, are encouraged to apply.
It is the expectation that successful applicants would attend the conference in-person. All workshop meals and lodging (two nights) will be covered by The RYR-1 Foundation. Depending on funding levels, a travel stipend may be offered. Applicants will be selected by the Workshop Organizing Committee no later than April 1, 2022. In order to maximize discussion, open exchange of ideas, and facilitate brainstorming and consolidation of consensus recommendations, the workshop will be limited to a total of 54 attendees.
All participants are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
