The NMGC is a collaborative work between MYO-CARE National Foundation & the NewGiza University School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt in partnership with the World Muscle Society and PFIZER Int. grant for independent education
The scientific committee are NMD experts from the Eastern Mediterranean region and five Egyptian institutes working with the WMS board members to provide a scientific forum for medical professionals in the region working in neuromuscular disorders and genetics.
The program highlights the regional challenges and updates in multidisciplinary care and novel therapeutics in neuromuscular disorders.
The post-congress workshop on the 6th of November is led by the WMS executive board members to provide training and mentoring opportunities for young academics and post-doctors on manuscript writing.
Delegates include myologists, geneticists, neurologists, pediatricians, cardiologists, physiotherapists, industry, and postgraduates.
