The Euro-Latin American Summer School of Myology, EVELAM, is a myology teaching course and workshop that takes place every year in a different city in Latin America. The main objective of EVELAM, which is developed in Spanish and Portuguese, is to bring myology and the knowledge of neuromuscular diseases closer to the Latin American health community.
This year EVELAM will extend over four days, from november 29th to december 2nd 2023 in the beautiful historical city of Colonia de Sacramento, Uruguay. EVELAM 2023 will be held as a face-to-face/virtual hybrid event.
As it is the tradition a group of European and Latin American experts in neuromuscular diseases will meet to develop activities covering from the basics in myology to the most recent developments in the neuromusuclar field, going through the physical examination, complementary diagnostic methods to new therapies.
