Bilateral Ptosis and Proximal Muscle Weakness

Start Case Presentation

This is the case of a 49-year-old woman who presented for IVIG treatment for a suspected Myasthenia Gravis.

Onset was 1 year prior to presentation with progressive bilateral, upper and lower extremity proximal weakness and fluctuating diurnal fatigue.

She also noticed difficulties in raising her eye lids bilaterally without pain or double vision on eye movement.
