Flipped Case: Neuromuscular Pathology

Muscle Biopsy – Left Quadriceps of an 8-year-old male patient.

Flipped cases aim at highlighting the contribution of neuromuscular pathology, electromyography, and magnetic resonance imaging to the diagnostic procedure of neuromuscular diseases. They also aim at enabling pathologic patterns recognition and interpretation. In each flipped case, nerve/muscle micrographs or EMG/NCS recordings or MRIs scans of brain or muscle, will be displayed without the patient’s history or clinical examination. Descriptions, interpretations, and guiding will be provided throughout.
