Since the World Muscle Society was created in 1995, many things have changed, but others have stayed the same. Executive Board terms have lasted three years since 2001, with familiar faces and new voices making up the Executive Board each time.
Different elections have resulted in varying numbers of new faces. Since the whole Executive Board was formed in 1996, the election that saw the most change was the one held in 2022, which resulted in seven newly elected Executive Board members.
Our next election is taking place in 2025 and we will complete the below table once we know the outcome.
We are incredibly grateful to all those who have contributed to the successful development and continued success of the WMS. As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, we are publishing a full list of all our Executive Board members since that first, auspicious meeting in London in 1996.
