Save the date for the 31st WMS Congress

WMS 2026 will take place in Hiroshima, Japan, from 29 September to 3 October 2026. It will be the 31st annual international Congress of the World Muscle Society. 

Following two Congresses in North America and two in Europe, hosting our next Congress in Asia helps us fulfil our mission of being a global, multidisciplinary community committed to advancing the science of neuromuscular disorders and the care for people living with them. Our aim is that by holding our annual Congresses in different countries around the world each year, we make attendance more accessible for the local audience, while giving our global audience the opportunity to explore our varied host cities. 

We hope to open registration for WMS 2026 in spring 2026 and will share updates with the WMS membership as we have them. The best way to stay up to date with Congress and Society news is to become a member. In the meantime, we encourage you to save the date.
