Exciting job opportunity to join a transformative research project on malignant hyperthermia at UCL:

The Department of Clinical and Movement Neurosciences and the Division of Biosciences at UCL are collaborating on an innovative project funded by the Medical Research Council (supervisors: Prof Michael Duchen and Dr Karl Frontzek). This project bundles world-class expertise and cutting-edge facilities across disciplines to explore the mechanisms of malignant hyperthermia using an innovative Stac3 mouse model.

About You:

  • Passionate about science in a dynamic team
  • PhD in a relevant field (or be near submission)
  • Expertise in mammalian tissue culture, biochemistry and histology
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

Key Details:

  • Location: UCL, London.
  • Start Date: 1 June 2025 (fixed-term position until 31 May 2028, with the potential for extension)
  • Salary: £38,357 - £41,005 per annum (Research Assistant) or £44,745 - £48,763 per annum (Research Fellow).
