Myologists across the world, join us at the online Myology Café on Thursday 17th July at 14:00 BST to meet your community.
The WMS Myology Developments across the World Committee is pleased to announce the launch of a new series of talks, hosted as part of our popular Myology Café. This series will focus on exploring regional approaches to neuromuscular disorder (NMD) care and patient registries. It aims to foster cross-regional collaboration, promote the sharing of practical insights, and support continuous learning among healthcare professionals working in the field of rare NMDs.
Our second session in the series will feature a special presentation by June Kinoshita, Director of Research and Patient Engagement, FSHD Society who will share her impactful work with the FSHD Alliance, an initiative dedicated to improving care for individuals living with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) globally and to discuss how the FSHD Alliance is driving progress, empowering patients and helping shape a more equitable future for NMD care.
We warmly invite clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders to join us for this engaging session as we take an important step toward building a more connected and informed global NMD care community.
The Myology Café is organised by our Myology Developments Across the World Committee. We hope these informal sessions will strengthen our international community, enabling you to meet with your regional colleagues as well as the international ones.
This virtual meet-up over a coffee happens bi-monthly and features Wordly live translation. All attendees can have the entire meeting translated into their preferred language in real time. We welcome both WMS members and non-members, from all around the world.
Please sign up here to attend.
Feel free to invite your colleagues along too!
