WMS members are invited to join us at our online Myology Café on Thursday, 28 May 2026 at 14:00 BST for the second of our member-only educational workshop sessions focusing on the abstract process from start to finish.
This second session will guide you through the key steps to creating a clear, professional, and visually engaging poster, including:
The session will be particularly valuable for early to mid-career researchers and first-time presenters preparing their submissions for WMS 2026.
The WMS senior leadership is getting involved and each workshop session will be co-hosted by an Executive Board member, Programme Committee member or abstract reviewer, alongside an experienced presenter/submitter and a WMS 2025 first-time presenter (prize winner).
We are delighted to announce that our co-presenters for this session will be:
Marco Savarese, Chair WMS 2026 Prize Committee and Executive Board member
Teerin Liewluck, WMS 2026 Programme Committee member, WMS EDI
As usual, we will feature Wordly live translation during the workshop, allowing attendees to follow the session in their preferred language in real time. However, unlike our regular Myology Cafés, these workshop sessions will be recorded and made available for WMS members to view afterwards.
We hope this workshop will be both practical and inspiring, and that it will provide you with the tools and confidence to create and upload a good poster.
Please register here to receive joining details.
Look out for details of the next session on Tuesday, 4 August 2026 at 11:00 BST:
"how to put together and deliver an effective presentation and slides."
We look forward to seeing you.
