Myology Cafe, May 2026, members-only masterclass: how to create and upload a good poster

WMS members are invited to join us at our online Myology Café on Thursday, 28 May 2026 at 14:00 BST for the second of three member-only educational workshop sessions focusing on the abstract process from start to finish.

This second session will guide you through the key steps to creating a clear, professional, and visually engaging poster, including:

  • how to structure your poster for maximum impact
  • design tips to make your poster clear and easy to read
  • common mistakes to avoid
  • how to prepare and upload your poster correctly

The session will be particularly valuable for early to mid-career researchers and first-time presenters preparing their submissions for WMS 2026.

The WMS senior leadership is getting involved and each workshop session will be co-hosted by an Executive Board member, Programme Committee member or abstract reviewer, alongside an experienced presenter/submitter and a WMS 2025 first-time presenter (prize winner).

As usual, we will feature Wordly live translation during the workshop, allowing attendees to follow the session in their preferred language in real time. However, unlike our regular Myology Cafés, these workshop sessions will be recorded and made available for WMS members to view afterwards.

We hope this workshop will be both practical and inspiring, and that it will provide you with the tools and confidence to submit a strong, competitive abstract.

Please register here to receive joining details.
